About Ann
Ann Melim is a devoted member of Generation X and a committed lover of its music. In hopes of battling the stigma of Bipolar, she shares her stories and experiences to open the conversation about mental illness. Since her early retirement as a high school English teacher, she continues to embrace the art of pivoting and seizing the moment. Along with her husband, she provides a loving home for rescue dogs and cats so they may live in opulence and excess, as all animals should. When she's not walking her dogs or writing essays, she prefers to stand in a river, knee deep, and watch her memories float by to the rhythm of a song, any song.
